Felis catus - The domestic cat

Cats aren't my favorite at all. Any day, I'll prefer a dog. We've just had one pet cat but lots of dogs, but nevertheless like all animals, it fascinates me.

'A giant leap for kitty kind!'

'Whatcha doin?'

'Who, me?'

'Buzz off!'

Some of these cats are from a cousin's place.

An evening in the temple town.

Spent an evening in the temple town of Najanagud. This used to be our frequent picnic spot. I've lost count of the times I visited this place especially with mom. This time, I fulfilled my desire of capturing the sights of this little town through a camera (well, almost). And here are a few:

The Sun in Capricornus

Makara Sankranti just got over. And I came up with this one: The sun takes a crocodilian mount instead of his regular chariot or barge. 

The little triangle of stars in the sky would be the constellation of Capricornus or the zodiacal Capricorn (Makara in the Hindu tradition).

She, from the realms of my mind

Back with the blog again. Having lost count of the times I restarted the blog, this time I'm planning to keep it both visual and verbal. Hoping this works out. And so for the first post, I'm posting my first artwork of this year.
